Steve Ditko Visual Templates

You may have seen signature Ditko characters, or characteristics of his art, in his most popular titles like the Amazing Spider-Man or Dr. Strange but, like all artists, their careers are developmental archs. While the Overstreet Price Guide loves to pump their pre-hero prototypes, my wallet thanks the stars they have ignored looking back at Ditko's 1950s/early 1960s Charlton work to find all sorts of visual templates for characters/concepts which would later pop up in Ditko's big two Marvel books.
