Terry Austin has been one of the best inkers for the past 20 years. The story behind these pre-inked pages from MARVEL COMICS PRESENTS #80, published in 1991, has Terry going to the Marvel offices with Fred Hembeck one day in the late '80s. An editor offered Terry this Ditko job, and since Terry was a big fan of Steve's, he took the pencils home. Since the story hadn't been scheduled, the story languished on Terry's shelf for 2 to 3 years! Fred Hembeck was able to photocopy the penciled pages, and he even got Terry to let him ink part of a panel! Fred also put ''Fred Hembeck was here'' in another panel and then covered it in black ink.
