It had longed been rumoured that Ditko had done a FLASH GORDON story, or at least a story for a comic called THE FLASH GORDON COMPANION. The artwork recently came up for auction and the result can be seen here.

Unfortunately, it looks like someone mauled the original story and pasted over word balloons to make the story appear "funny," or a STAR TREK parody. Ah well, it's at least four pages of Ditko the world had not seen prior...
